நான் எஸ். கோவிந்தராஜன் ( பெருங்கட்டூர்) ‌நான் பிறந்தது கார்த்திகை தீபத்திருவிழாவின் பிறப்பிடமானதும் அபீத குஜாம்பாள் சமேத ஸ்ரீ அருணாசலேஸ்வரரின் திருக்கோயில் அமைந்துள்ள புண்ணிய பூமியாகிய திருவண்ணாமலை..1954ல் பிறந்த நான் பள்ளி படிப்பை அங்கே முடித்து விட்டு கல்லூரி வாழ்க்கையை சென்னையில் துவங்கினேன்.. கல்லூரி நாட்களிலேயே கதைகள், கட்டுரைகள், நாடகங்கள் போன்றவற்றை எழுதி இருக்கிறேன்…அந்நாளிலேயே ஒன்றிரண்டு சிறுகதைகள் பத்திரிகைகளில் பிரசுரம் ஆகிற்று… வாழ்க்கை சக்கரம் உருண்டோட சம்சாரக் கடலில் மூழ்கியதில் வாழ்க்கை நடத்துவதே கதையாகிப் போனது.. தமிழ் நாடு அரசு ஊழியராக பணியாற்றி 2012ல் ஓய்வு பெற்றேன்.. எனது மனைவிக்கு புத்தகங்கள் படிப்பதில் மிகவும் ஆர்வம் கொண்டவள்.. சொல்லப்போனால் ஒரு புத்தகம் புழு.. படுக்கையில் கிடந்த இறுதி நாட்களிலும் அவள் சற்று நிமிர்த்தி உட்கார வைத்து புத்தகங்கள் படிப்பாள்.. நான் அவ்வளவாக ஆழ்ந்து படிப்பவன் அல்ல.. நுனிப்புல் மேய்பவன்.. அவள் என்னை விட்டு இறைவனிடம் சேர்ந்து பத்து திங்கள் ஆகின்றது..வானுலகில் இருந்து அவளின் தூண்டுதலாலோ என்னவோ நான் பல புத்தகங்களை படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்.. அதன் விளைவாக தான் இந்த வலைப்பக்கத்தினைத் துவக்கினேன்.. எனக்கும் அவளுக்கும் பயணம் செய்து பல கோவில்களை தரிசனம் செய்ய மிகவும் விருப்பம்.. புத்தகங்கள் படிக்கும் போது அதில் கோயில் சம்மந்தப்பட்ட குறிப்புகள் இருந்தால் அதனைத் தனியே குறித்து வைத்துக் கொண்டு வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும் போதெல்லாம் கோயில்கள் தரிசனம் செய்தோம்.. இறுதியாக சில ஆண்டுகள் அவளால் மிகவும் நடக்க முடியாத சூழலிலும் சக்கர நாற்காலி உதவி கொண்டு கோயில்களை தரிசனம் செய்தாள்.. இந்த வலைப் பக்கங்கள் அவளுக்கும் என்னை ஈன்ற பெருந்தகைகளுக்கும் காணிக்கை ஆக்குகிறேன்…

I am S Govinarajan(Perungattur) born in the year 1954 in the famous town for Karthigai Deepam., i.e., Tiruvannamalai.. After finishing my school days I migrated to Chennai for college. During my college days I use to write short stories, drama scripts etc., One or two published in magazines.. Thereafter, I joined Tamil Nadu Government services..I became a family man, and could not concentrate on my hobbies..I retired in the year 2012..My wife is a fond reader of books, and infact she is a bookwarm.. Even she was bedridden for about eight months, she will sit in a slanting position and read…

I am not a good reader of books, because I don’t have patience.. but I am a rapid reader.. She left me to the heavenly abode about ten months back.. Maybe, her wish I am now reading books and post matters in my website..

Both of us are fond of visiting temples.we will note down any details of the temples if it is seen in magazines and visit when opportunity comes.. Even when she was not able to walk during the past years, she will come in wheelchair and had Dharshan of the temples..
